Artistic Producer: Zorana Kydd, Ph.D.

Artistic Producer, Actress and Theatre Scholar, Zorana Kydd received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Graduate Centre for Study of Drama at The University of Toronto. Dr. Kydd also completed professional development courses at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, England, Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, The New Actors Workshop in New York City, and studied Eugenio Barba’s acting methods developed for Odin Theatre in Denmark. Dr. Kydd is among those theatre scholars who combine research into the past with a direct participation in performance life. Her studies deal with both the Actors Training and 20th Century North American drama and film. Dr. Kydd serves as a master acting teacher in BirdLand Actor Conservatory and taught at The University of Toronto for two years. Also a professional actor, she has performed extensively in Canada and Europe.
